April 24 – Latin Music Concert Teaser:  Cantabile LAURI AGUIRRE, soprano, and MARIANO AGUIRRE, guitar, will present an introduction to the rhythms of Latin music!  Both Lauri and Mariano will appear at the Norwalk Concert Hall on April 30th in our performance of Bobbi Fischer’s Missa Latina, accompanied by a Tango Instrumental Ensemble.

February 13 – Beethoven Concert Teaser: Meet MARIEL MAYZ, pianist, who appeared in our Beethoven concert in the First Presbyterian Church in New Canaan. Mariel presented a talk on Beethoven’s piano music and provided insights on the Choral Fantasy.


 
March 20 – Holy Drama: How the Church is Depicted in Grand Opera:  GCS Asst Music Director JAMES WETZEL  delivered an engaging talk on “church scenes” in Grand Opera.

 
 
April 3 – The History of Protest Songs: Baritone EDDIE PLEASANT will pick-up his discussion on the History of the Spiritual and expand on the history of protest songs as seen through the lens of Unions, Civil Rights, Women's Rights, Americans with Disabilities, Gay Rights and Black Lives Matter.
